“Power Audio Editor” is a piece of software which can help you edit and record audio files and which can perform many advanced and powerful operations on audio data. There is quite a number of supported formats which you can create and save audio files in. The available formats include: uncompressed WAV PCM, compressed WAV (GSM, ADPCM, DSP, U-Law, A-Law and others), MPEG2 Layer 3 (MP3), MPEG2 Layer 2 (MP2), WMA, Ogg Vorbis, AIFF, AU, MPC, VOX (Dialogic ADPCM), RAW (uncompressed PCM, U-Law, A-Law),G.726, G.723 and G.721.
The program allows audio recording, mixing, editing, analyzing and effect processing. “Power Audio Editor” offers more than 20 effects and filters, such as: fade in/out, crossfade, vibrato, delay, normalize, flanger, amplify, invert, insert silence, and more. You can edit or just apply them any way you like. The interface is intuitive and very easy to use even for inexperienced people.
